After my cat barfed on my keyboard, I thought my Dell was destined to be recycled. I cleaned it up, but in the process, pulled several of the keys up and could not get them back on right. The keys stuck and sometimes would not work. I had a newer computer for my office but planned to keep this one in my craft room since it still worked. While I was researching how to remove the hard drive so I could take it to the recycling point, I found a Youtube video of the process. One of the steps was to remove the keyboard. When I saw how easy it was, I searched for a new keyboard and found this one on Amazon. I'm glad I did. It was a breeze. There were no screws to remove but take out the battery for safety. The hardest part was getting the old keyboard off (4 stubborn little tabs at the top hold it in place), but after that, it took just a few minutes to connect the cable and put the new keyboard in place.
