Vegetable Tanning Hidesign has preserved the age-old tradition of vegetable tanning leathers that adds a soft glow to them. Our leathers are full grain (they have not been corrected to hide defects) have minimal colour or pigments to cover the leather’s natural beauty. Hidesign Leather Care 1. Cleaning Rub lightly with soft damp cloth dipped in a light shampoo solution. Avoid dirt and oil. Worst enemies: oil / eggs / ball points. They will never come out ! 2. Storage Keep it well aired out or stored in a cloth bag. 3. Moisture Control During monsoons, if fungus develops it should be rubbed off with a soft cloth dipped in a mild solution of dettol. 4. Conditioning & Polishing If it becomes dry and lifeless apply small amounts of leather cream. Always patch tent on an inside/hidden portion before applying on entire bag.
