I just got this last night so I haven't spent too much time with it. I just wanted to add a quick review because it's a fantastic Black Friday deal. If you're looking for an entry level monitor this is a good choice. The screen looks good. I'm happy with the brightness and colours. I wouldn't want to do anything on it that required colour accuracy. It's fine for what most of us do on a computer everyday such as video, web surfing and general office tasks. I have a Samsung Note 10+. I needed to plug in the power cable to get a signal for Dex. This may not be required for newer laptops.As for the speakers? Forgetaboutit. They're quiet and not that good. At this price, it's all you're going to get. Almost all of us have headphones or BT speakers. Your phone can be chosen as a speaker output. That's going to be a better choice.The cover is magnetic and not bolted on. You could take it out and place it in a stand. It is like an iPad cover but it doesn't turn the screen off. The monitor fits into the slots and stays there. That's not always the case. My last monitor, from a different company, didn't stay standing up. It's a frequent complaint with these portable monitors.There is no branding on the monitor itself. I like that. In fact, the only branding on the box is just below the UPC barcode. The packaging is a nice presentation. The monitor is very well protected with the sturdy box and foam inserts. Underneath the monitor you will find a box with four decent quality cables and what looks like a quality power brick. I'm very picky about my cables and I'm not afraid to use these ones.There is a real, in close to perfect English, useful manual with helpful information printed on nice, glossy paper. It's the kind of manual you just don't see anymore.This was supposed to be quick. I'm just so happy with this purchase. If anything goes wrong, I will come back and let everyone know.The specs on these entry-level monitors are all about the same. I suspect that many actually ARE the same, made in the same factory and just have a different brand name added on. This one is an excellent Black Friday deal.
