XD Design Bobby Compact Anti-Theft Laptop Backpack with USB Charging Port - Lightweight Travel & Work Bag for Men & Women - Perfect for Commuting, Business Trips & College (Pink)

I used this backpack for my travels all across Europe. It holds up to its Anti-Theft name, not once did I feel unsecured wearing it, even in Las Ramblas in Barcelona, where pickpockets are notorious.Pros- Sleek design, small bag that meets most (if not all) airline requirements for a carry-on/additional bag- LOVE the USB charger outlet built into the bag, made it very easy for me to keep my power bank inside the bag and keep a small cord in the outer pockets I could plug into without much effort.- Great hidden pockets for storing sensitive items, such as passport, wallet, keys, phone, etc.- Lightweight. The bag alone is super light, which was very important to me because I planned on traveling with my camera and a water bottle at all times.- The travel bag! This little bag came in handy NUMEROUS times, especially in countries where they don't use plastic bags for small purchases. It holds a lot, and actually worked great for laundry as well!Cons- HOT. I did not realize at first how hot this bag gets on my back, within 10 minutes of wearing it I'm sweating. This even went for colder climates, like Scotland, although it definitely was worse in hotter climates (Italy in July!)- Scratchy material on the back/shoulder straps. Not only was this bag hot while wearing it, it also wasn't the most comfortable to use while wearing low back dresses/tops, and tanktops/sleeveless tops. The material would irritate my shoulders.- Stiff. The straps were very stiff, which could be a pro depending how you look at it. They seemed to dig into my neck area after wearing it for long periods of time. Also I could see if you have a large chest, them being uncomfortable.Overall, I'm happy that I decided to go with this bag for my trip, it held up very well and was just large enough to pack my camera, additional 300mm lens, and water, along with other small, thin items such as my passport, any pamphlets, and small electronics (Kindle especially!). I'd say this is a good buy for smaller framed people who want the security of an anti-theft bag.So I wanted to wait until I returned from my Greece trip before writing a review. Two international trips later, here is my review.The bag itself is amazing. Super cute and sleek. My friends and I keep commenting about how smooth that pink part is (so soothing to stroke it hahaha).The bag comes exactly as advertised, and comes with a mini tote bag as well. I haven't had a chance to try the luggage strap part since I don't think it will work well with my luggage.I thought I'd get more use out of the battery USB link, but I found it inconvenient for me while I was travelling, only because I don't have a long enough USB for my phone for it to be stowed nicely. Also once it's done charging, I don't like to have my battery pack left on (but this is not a fault on the bag, but more for me as a user).The cover seen in the pics is actually stowed/attached to the bottom of the bag.My favourite parts about the bag is really the easy access pockets on the outside.The two on the sides and the one on the lower back is really great!I didn't use the ones on the straps since they were a tad small for my purposes (I like to use a card protector on my transit cards so it won't fit).The reason why I loved the outer pockets is because the actual big zipper is a bit "tricky" to get into if you're in a rush.I know, it's an anti-theft bag, so obviously it's not supposed to be easy. Honestly I do wish I didn't have to set my bag down every time to guide the zippers though. VERY minor fault that could be annoying to some.Also, another minor fault is that the bag honestly can't fit that much. It's great if you're not carrying a lot, which I was fine with. If you're expecting to use this as your only travel "luggage" while traveling abroad, it is definitely not big enough.For people who like compartments, this is not for you lolI personally didn't mind, since a lot of regular backpacks don't have too many on the inside anyways.I just really utilized the outer pockets.My friend didn't get this bag while I made the purchase because she was concerned it might look to bulky in the back, so I've attached a picture of me with the pack. One of the best purchases I've ever made. If you're still debating whether to get one of these, go for it! It's definitely worth it. I still use it nearly every single day and it's still in really good shape! Was initially worried about never being able to wash it but it has lasted all this time. Updating it to 5 stars.I would give this five stars but my issue with it, is it's not easy to get into when you're trying to reach for something at the bottom of the bag. This is on the rare occasion that I need to though.I have included a tape measure in my pics to help you gauge the exact sizing of the bag.I chose the mint green because it's my second favourite colour (after lilac.) It really blends well with the grey on the bag.Do go for something darker if you live in a dusty environment like I do. And if your daily commute is anything like mine, you will quickly notice the dirt on the bag. A quick wipe down with a damp cloth will fix this though.It is an overall aesthetic bag. I must add that the mint green part has such a lovely texture, I kept reaching for the bag to run my hand over it. It does scuff rather easily, be warned.The bag is superbly comfortable. I immediately noticed how much lighter all my stuff felt when I moved it into my Bobby. The shoulder straps are adjustable and padded, and there is a little elastic band on either side of the straps to hold the rolled up length of the strap.The back panel has a foam layer with a mesh covering for ventilation. I was outdoors in the sun for an afternoon and didn't get a sweaty back.The ergonomic design does not lie! It also holds its shape rather well but you have to be careful not to smoosh the bag unnecessarily.I love the fact that it opens flat, which makes for easy organising.I will come back and edit the review after a few months of use to see how it holds up.Purchased this for my trip to Barcelona and it did a great job!Firstly the bag looks great, lovely material and super sturdy! Very bright however it can mark easily. Havent tried cleaning it yet but i was aware of this before i made my purchase!When it comes to the space inside the bag i would say its a little under what you'd expect however i was pleasantly surprised when mine arrived.On the outside of the bag there are two very small pockets at the side located by the straps, i feel that these are accessible to thieves as mine always seem to be down so don't put anything important in there or it'll be gone! (mine just contained chewing gum and hair bobbles)Theres another pocket located horizontally across the bottom of the backpack the back which is great for phones, the zip for this pocket has a little cover which makes it hard for you to just open it as a thief but you have to make sure that you don't put the zip in the wrong way but it's really hard to get out, speaking from experience!In the advertisement for the bag it shows two small openings on the straps that could be used for keeping in a credit card but in my experience whatever's in there just slips out so it wouldn't use those!The zips for the main compartment I feel are hidden well however i used an additional lock to ensure that nobody can get in as I was in very touristy areas and the metro!The bag contains a raincover attached to the bag in the underside of the bag! One of the features of the bag was that it was water repellent, I didn't use the rain cover when it was chucking it down and everything inside still stayed dry.The bag also came with a mini version of the bag which turned out to be a shopping bag type thing!The bag is sturdy and super light even when it was full to capacity I barely felt it on my back!Overall I'm really happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be using it on all my city trips from now on!I bought this bag as my other half had one and I became really jealous, thankfully they come in lovely colours and I love my mint green bag which I have received many comments on. It is really well made and looks and feels brilliant. There are so many pockets I am loosing things in it.The bag has its own jacket based in the bottom on the outside go the bag which is great, however the bag is pretty water resistant anyway.The only reason I dropped it a star as I was expecting to use it on a daily basis as I walk to and from work, unfortunately on days I require a food shop the bad itself is probably big enough for a loaf of bread and my purse and water bottle. Luckily it does come with a small foldable bag which helps slightly.Also another downside is my the holdall for the power bank section is quite small, so id make sure you wait till you have the bag before buying one as the one I already own doesn't fit, I have to stretch it to another compartment in the bag.On the whole I do like this bag, but primarily use it on the weekends and going abroad. I didn't feel like I needed to upload any photos as they images other customers have supplied are decent enough to show the bag off.Cool design, but didn't realise how little space there is inside. Overall external measurements might suggest it's got similar space inside to other backpacks, but sadly not.The compartment for the laptop and storage zips open and folds out. Plenty of room for the laptop, Ipad and phone. The problem is when you attempt to fold it back to close it to zip up, the entire contents you put in now has to fit inside - this means there is virtually no space for anything to go in the inside general compartment.Well made plus looks great very happy with the anti theft as live in London also it’s light weight even with iPad and kindle and stuff in very happy also got the Bobby Elle which I love when I don’t have so much to carry great design love itThe delivery arrived before the date amazon was giving me and I love this back pack! I use it everyday to go to work and is really comfortable, I don’t feel the weight on my back and I can fit everything I need, laptop included!The only thing the zip is a little bit hard and uncomfortable but it’s what you need for an anti-theft bag....
