15.6" WXGA Glossy LED Laptop Screen Replacement for HP Envy DV6-7210US - Perfect for Home Office, Gaming & Multimedia Use

This screen fit my Envy DV6 perfectly. I had the original bad screen removed and the new one installed in minutes. Quick advice for those making this repair; the perforated grill that runs below the screen is actually tape, so be very careful when removing it. I used a heat gun to loosen the tape, and ended up melting some of the tape, making it unusable. The grill is fairly expensive for what it is so I decided not to purchase it. I don't mind the lack of grill, but that's my personal opinion.I have to work a little to make fit the brackets at the button of the screen were in the wrong direction straight it out with a pair of pliers very careful, the connector was not fitting easy so i have to manage to get it in, and one dead pixel. for the price a think is a good deal and my son is happy.So far so good, no more lines down the center of my HP DV6 entertainment screen. I ordered via Prime 2 day shipping. Durango Computer Nurds did a great job on the screen install + physical lap top clean + virus check for $100. The screen looks great thus far, and it's wonderful to have the annoying lines gone from the original screen. I'll update if any longevity issues.Bought this as a replacement. Came in packaged decent. There was a lot of extra room in the box which I did not like. There was no issues with the screen though and it worked well!Screen came packed well. Screen was exactly what I expected, it was super easy to install, took less then 10 minutes and it works perfectly. Screen had a protective film over it that came off easily.
