I looked at cases with computer inserts from all the major brands before I stumbled across Nanuk. I'm blown away at the quality and design of this case. Not only are the exterior dimensions smaller, but the Nanuk 923 improves upon some important features that are either lacking or absent in comparably expensive cases from Pelican, Seahorse, and others.The computer insert is very well designed—the cover portion is secured to the case with rivets and the tray is molded rubber with well thought out extra storage compartments. Nanuk locks are TSA-approved, latches are BOMBPROOF, spring-loaded handle folds flat when not in use, beefy shoulder strap is heavily cushioned (even the strap attachment points are well designed), and the pad lock holes have a solid metal insert for added strength and their diameter is large enough for a substantial pad lock.What I can comfortably fit in this case without forcing anything:• 16" MacBook Pro• 12.9" iPad with case and Apple Pencil• Regular Mac keyboard OR Vinpock Taptek mechanical keyboard• iPhone• External USB drive• Aukey 8in1 USB C Hub• Anker portable charger• MBP power brick, USB-C cord, and extension cord• Airfly• Adaptors• Various power bricks and cords• Elevation Lab iPad stand• Humixx iPad/Phone stand for use with Sidecar• with room left over for a pad of paper, passport, and glasses.This case is bomber. And worth every penny.This case is unlike anything else available on the market. The unprecedented level of security and damage protection far surpasses anything the average user would require. This case is solid, and the laptop insert does well to make sure everything fits snug inside without bouncing off the interior walls. A second hard-rubber laptop shell is also provided and works well enough on it’s own. Altogether, this product is well worth the price. This product is designed to be subjected to the elements, as well as rough baggage handlers without breaking a sweat. Would suggest this case to anyone who has any concerns about damaging an expensive 15.6” laptop.Get ready to carry around some serious weight though. This thing is not light by any means. Doable, and can be carted around from home-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-office, and such. Would not recommend this if you have to walk to work on a daily basis (unless you are looking to do some strength training.)I am really happy with this case. I purchased it for a long road trip and it worked out well. My 17" Dell laptop fits in it (no room for foam on the sides), and I can also include my mouse, power adapter, headphones, and misc cords. It hold quite a lot, even with the foam inserts included. It is very solid and well engineered. It has 2 included combination locks built in, plus you can add extra locks with the holes included. It feels nice in my hand and looks good.At the moment this is the best hard case for a computer you can find. It is heavy because it is indestructible. I am not a weak person and have carried heavy briefcases for decades, but this is really right to the limit if your going to haul it down those 4 miles of labyrinth airport halls. I wouldn't look forward to it. Furthermore, I can't see myself checking my $4000.00 dollar computers into airport gorillas. I am sure they would try to max the crush test. It was almost too small for my HP Omen. but it fits without the sleeve. The case is made in Canada and is of superior quality and design. The sleeve is made in China and mine had a defective zipper that broke the first time I tried it. The zipper is obviously defective but if you are a slave in china making these things what do you care.My portable office now. I keep a laptop, iPad, energy source, assorted wires and plugs in it. I can take it in planes,to AFRICA or just up in the woods to a table where I work behind the house. It’s sturdy enough to give you confidence, and with a lock and a small chain – it’s burglar proof. Some of the netted material tore from weak stitching inside. It didn’t bother me so much. I just fixed it with some black tape and ignore it.I mount Nanuk cases on our motorcycles. I use Givi side and rear racks and stainless steel bolts to mount these these on. well over 30.000+ miles and no issuesThe case has worked perfectly for what I need.While it may be a bit heavy for some to use as a daily laptop briefcase yet it is durable and has been worth every dollar spent on it. It is a good match and fits well on to my larger Nanuk case on rollers that I actually use for my camera gear. When buying a high dollar laptop why not put it in something that can protect it properly?This is a solid case. Very sturdy, to the point it seems like overkill. It gives you peace-of-mind knowing that your devices and data are secure, especially when travelling to worksites. I love the spring loaded handle, the comfy strap, and the fact the locks wont open unintentionally.I've been able to pack a 16" MBP and 13" Air, as well as all cables, and dongles with ease. I will be buying more Nanuk products, without a question.Amazing quality, best case of this type on the market as far as I can see. My only comment would really be a suggestion that Nanuk consider making a more compact version for smaller laptops. The case is large and My 13” MacBook Pro feels like it has more room around the sides than I’d like. I’ll be keeping it because I need the protection and this case is the best I’ve seen. A smaller version built to the same quality would really be what I’d wish for.5 stars across the board. I was looking for a case to house my eyepieces and accessories for my telescope. Extremely well made. Feels incredibly durable, latching mechanisms are robust and simple (with TSA locks). The pluck foam was easy enough to cut out. I highly recommend this brand.Perfect protective hard case..... Foam density is great for solid protection of valuable equipment, no rattling or jarring. Both latches are lockable and 2 keys provided, additionally there are 2 holes for separate locks. Extremely happy with this purchase and it fits 2 new 9 x 13 inch sonars side by side. En mi caso se ha instalado como topcase en una moto para transportar un ordenador portátil con seguridad y menos volumen que en topcase convencional... muy contento
