I didn’t like the color it had a “hospital” vibe but its function is perfect for me. I study on my bed and it keeps me feeling comfortable. I like that I can fold it and place it between my bed and nightstand. I can easily grab it from my bed. So far it holds my MacBook pro 14 inch properly and hasn’t given me any problems. I’m not sure how durable the product is. My only concern is the height adjustment bar and the tilt function because I’m not sure how long that will last with daily usage.I would not recommend putting a glass or a drink on top without a lid, or a plate of food because the surface doesn’t have a grip. But you can do it.I just had surgery. This allows me to write and to work on my laptop while I elevate my leg. Great investment.Easy setup and works well if you want to stand at your desk. This bed/floor desk is well made and has many great features. Easy to clean, tilt desk-top, sturdy and attractive. However - one flaw is the ergonomics - IF YOU ARE LEFT-HANDED - As a left-handed person i usually use this desk with the bar to keep items from sliding at top rather than bottom as intended. My wrist while using the computer or writing invariably hits the HARD BAR that is meant to hold the computer / writing paper / etc. The soft bar to accommodate the wrist is only on the right side. If the soft bar went all the way across, it would still hold items in place and the left-handed person would have hand/wrist comfort.Amazon Basics Adjustable Laptop Tray Table - Lap Desk Fits up to 17-Inch Laptop - MediumPortablethis thing is:- unexciting- 50$- kinda uglyBut the truth is its a great utility player. lets you turn pretty much any surface, couch, bed etc into a workstation even though we all know a true professional would never spend a hungover tuesday in bed working from home during covid... totally not.Hungover jokes aside, I can go outside and use it, I no longer have to slouch using my coffee table as a desk, its great to use in bed. Additionally I have found it works really great for double tiering my drum machine directly on top of my synth so I can work on both easier. It is also really fantastic for reading books and magazines; bring that sucker to full tilt and get out your favorite periodical and you can read hands free. Its just a little adjustable table, you dont think you need it, but trust me, this utility player opens up many many possibilities. If you're thinking about it pull the trigger, a solid 50$ spendif I had any critiques:- legs should actually lock into place when in the folded out position, they are just held in place by a pressure bubble but you can kick them out accidentally.- for same reason as above its a little wobbly laterally, not a problem for me really but depending on what you want this utility player to do for you if side to side stability is important to your intended deployment this one doesnt lock the legs (see point above) and has a little weakness in the side to side- phone/mouse & laptop slide stoppers are a bit overpronouced. its like they are trying to stop my trundling boulder from sliding off a mountain. Over engineered to the point of getting in the way a bit, im sure theres some DIY fixit solution but whatevs- the table only inclines one direction. It should really be bi directional. just seems like a cheap out that it can only tilt one direction, and cannot tilt the other directionI am working from home much more than anticipated. My desk is double layered and didn't have room for a true standing desk piece. This product successfully replaces the standard standing desk top piece. It is light weight and very inexpensive compared to adjustable standing desks. The product comes fully built and all you need to do is take it out of the box. I also enjoy the ability to tilt the entire top piece down, which I can use when I am sitting. It can be a little wobbly even in the locked position, but I can get pasted that. This table has been a godsend during the current lockdown. It is extremely versatile with enough surface area to use it with a laptop, tablet or written work. We bought the ‘Large’ version of the table, and glad we didn’t go for the ‘Medium’ size, as I wouldn’t have wanted it any smaller. The table measures 60cm L x 33cm W and weighs 1.2kg.The height of the legs can easily be adjusted, there’s no complicated mechanisms here and feels sturdy although there is a slight rattle when the table is wobbled. The angle of the table can also be adjusted towards you if needs be too. When not in use, the table legs can be folded back for easy storage. The table also includes a couple of attachments to keep the laptop/tablet/mouse from falling - these are easily removable if you need to utilise the entire area of the table.Ours has already been used in a variety of different areas around the house already including propping a laptop on it for use on the sofa/bed, it’s also served well on the lap while on a garden deckchair! I’ve also used it on my main office desk to lift the laptop up, thereby acting as a standing desk or to help prop a laptop up when making those important work video calls. The kids have also been using it for homework while sitting on the floor. Hopefully, you’ll see that your imagination is the limit for potential and practical uses – we never knew how much we would need this until we had it! To top it off, it was sold for a very reasonable £27.99. Thoroughly recommended for anyone struggling with space during this current lockdown.I like this a lot. It does exactly what I planned and more. It works to extend the keyboard and mouse higher to use as standing desk (if you can raise your monitors on their stands) and works when sat on couch due to its size. Also works on mantle piece as a standing desk with laptop. I would advise the large if you want a full room of keyboard and mouse as the medium fits well for a laptop and mouse at 3/4 keyboard size which is what I use.Well made and comes ready to use straight from box. Sturdy fittings.Even good for those occasional days of serving a breakfast in bed to your loved one... would be nice to receive one too.A great laptop table you can select the height and angle. Laptop used on it is hp envy x360 due to the vent placement on the laptop it is prone to getting hot on your lap. Not anymore with this brilliantly design laptop table also no heating issues anymore with laptop. Purchased this for my wife who suffers with back problems and being able to manipulate the height and angle of the table help my wife being comfortable and able to use the laptop for longer. Also the table is great for using on the bed keeping the laptop secure enough to use. We have used different laptop table's and this is the best one we ever had it is sturdy adjustable and folds down for storage a great bit of kit for your laptop. Forgot to mention the laptop is 14 inches and the table is 24 inches so a 17 inch laptop will sit comfortably with this table.I have a chronic disability which means that some days I'm confined to bed, and while it's bad enough in itself, I like to be productive when I can so it's infuriating being stuck there and being bored. This little table folds away next to the bed when not in use, and then on my bad days I can have my wedge pillow propping me up at an angle and have this over me to allow me to do everything from getting on with work, to watching stuff on the iPad.I bought it as an affordable and most importantly adjustable option, and this does adjust height and tilt super easily.Highly recommended :)Purchased this desk for my wife to use when recovering from a knee operation. Really impressed with the build quality. It feels robust and not at all flimsy. The height adjustment makes it very flexible; the lowest setting is comfortable for using whilst in bed. Tilt makes using a laptop device more comfortable also. Size wise the medium was a good fit for our Microsoft Surface Go and Pro devices....... enough room for the Go and a paper notebook on the desk. The legs are sturdy, and importantly flat which means they won't cause the desk to roll forwards or backwards (like it would with a round/curved leg).
