Smart Zipper Attachment allows transport on extended handles of other rolling cases and luggage
I like all of the pockets and the potential for this roller bag to be placed on the handle of your luggage, yet the bag itself is quite heavy and I never took the time to remove the plastic back/wheels so that I could put it atop of my luggage. I purchased a different bag with similar structure/pockets that has 4 wheels instead of two, which is also a nice feature to have.I first purchased this bag back in March of 2012 and had used it daily for work ever since. However, it was destroyed in a fire in November. Stupidly, I purchased a different bag to replace it which was no nearly as functional or sturdy. So, I just bought this one again and starting using it last week!! If you are purchasing this bag for work, it is absolutely amazing! The zippers function smoothly and the bag remains upright. There is even a bag cover in case it rains, tucked right in the handle compartment. I didn't know about the bag cover until I had the bag for 6 months, it's so securely hidden away. For the past few years, I've carried 3 computers and a small printer in this bag, as well as various other items, papers, ink, portable wifi, etc. Since the fire, I've downgraded to only 2 computers, but there is still room for a 3rd. I don't use the laptop cushion provided and it is easily removed from the bag by velcro. My equipment has always been safe and never damaged in the 4 yrs of using this bag. So happy to have repurchased it again. Only wish I would have saved myself the money and purchased this one right away, instead of learning my lesson with another bag (that looked really stylish and was slightly less expensive). McKlein has a customer for life!Being female I wanted a bag that was professional but not too masculine. Many of the women's bags were too small to be really functional and many of the other rolling bags were too functional and didn't have any style. This bag is a nice balance between functionality and style. I purchased the bag in January and having traveled with it many times now I can say it has performed very well. It expands out and held my computer and all my books & reports in addition to a 2-inch binder. The compact/zipped in size is perfect for just the short trips that don't require a lot of paperwork. The computer case is very secure and there is plenty of pockets and organization options. It comes with a cover that hides in the rolling devise so when I traveled to Seattle in the rain/snow I didn't worry about damaging the very attractive leather. You can even un-clip the rolling portion and carry it as a shoulder bag if you were so inclined. I actually had several strangers (both men and women) comment on how attractive the bag is. I think that this is a wonderful bag and would recommend it.I like the case itself. I'm actually able to store quite a bit in it beyond my laptop. It's well made and the finish looks great after several months of daily use.The telescoping handle is giving me problems. It no longer slides freely, I have to work to pull it up and retract it again. I've thought about treating it with something but everything I can think of would potentially rub off on clothing or the case, so have done nothing to it yet - and it gets a little stickier every day. Will contact the manufacturer to see what they suggest. There is probably something I can do.Otherwise, excellent case for the price. It really is lovely and I receive lots of compliments on it.This is a sturdy but stylish bag. Multiple pockets for my work, 15.6 inch laptop, cables, cords, chargers and all my office binders and work. One thing could be perfect if the handle extended a little more for us tall folks. I'm 5'11 and still bend to roll bag. Also wish there was a little hole or window on side for when I need to charge my device without having to take device out of the bag.I ordered two different bags. The main thing which made me send this one back was the weight, and the price. It is a nice bag, but was very, very heavy. I just don't want to haul that constantly around airports. I kept the Targus checkpoint-friendly because it folds down (instead of having to still pull the laptop encasing out), and that will be so much faster through TSA. What is the point of check-point friendly if you still have to pull stuff out? This one was also much more expensive than the Targus. It looks more expensive, so I appreciate that- but with the added weight, it just really threw Targus over the top of this one. Perhaps if they revamp it to be a fold-out, I'll get it when the Targus wears out. It's doing what I want, but I do wish the insides were a little bit more roomier. It was very hard to tell that from the pictures. I also wish it had four wheels inside of two. It's a little difficult to maneuver for me on two wheels. I didn't think it would be at first, but it actually is. Was going to send it back but decide to keep it and make it work. Construction of the bag is very nice and durable. Can't complain about the material at all. Rolls pretty. This is a fabulous computer travel case in and of itself -- without the roller cart. The cart clips that hold the bag broke the first time i went traveling. The cart handle is too weak and wobbly. The only flaw with the bag is the front zipper which broke on first use, but I was able to get it fixed. The bag quality otherwise is fabulous.
